East Phillips Alien

A blog about inner-city Minneapolis. Faith. Politics. Ministry. Life.

Housekeeping stuff

I started using the Blogger add-on for MS Word. I like it a lot. I’ve always been driven nuts by the tiny little composition box that Blogger has. The BlogThis! Tool is a slight improvement, but doesn’t have all of the formatting options I like. Funny thing is, Word’s spellcheck doesn’t recognize the word “blog.” I foresee great things for the future of Microsoft.

As you may notice, I changed blog templates (again). This one seems easier to read and looks a little less less like everyone else’s blog. I pared down the number of links to more closely reflect the sites I visit regularly that you may not have heard of (so if you haven’t heard of Instapundit, Hugh, Powerline and Kos, I can’t help you). Hmmm … MS Word is telling me to change “Kos” to “Cooch.” Maybe they aren’t as dumb as I thought …

Anyway, we’re all about serving you, the customer, here at the EPA so I hope you find the site easier to read and navigate. There are still a bunch of bugs that I’m trying to work out, which might take a while. Patience.
